Abstract

Feed them and they will come! A parent lunch group is the ticket to increasing positive student behavior. This session will outline, from beginning to end, how to create a parent group based on Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) data. The participants were the parents of the students with the highest discipline referrals for the previous school year. After meeting for several months, a positive change was noticed in the students' behaviors.
