The SIFE population of ELLs, including homeless SIFE students, is growing rapidly in Massachusetts; thus, ESL teachers need to be prepared for potential challenges that may arise when this population enters low-incidence school districts. This presentation will touch upon McKinney-Vento homeless student policices, the MALP teaching paradigm, and meaningful strategies.
