Session Description

At ELUNA 2016, we presented our general implementation experience with Alma/Primo, as we had gone live with both systems in July 2015. Yet going live was not our final destination, and our new lives in the cloud were just beginning. A panel of librarians from our institution (Head of Systems, Head of Access Services, Head of Acquisition and Cataloging, Electronic Resources Librarians, Digital Services Librarian, and Head of Reference Services) will elaborate the impact of our Alma/Primo implementation after nearly two years. We will share how we have been transforming our roles and responsibilities, as well as how we continue to utilize collaborative and decentralized strategies to thrive through changes. This presentation will also cover some details of establishing teams and processes in order to effectively communicate with Ex Libris, build new skills, facilitate ongoing staff training, and identify new needs.
