Session Abstract
Participants will be introduced to a locally developed curriculum for English learners at the secondary level. Presenters will introduce Understanding By Design (or UBD) as a successful tool in curriculum mapping and share several unit maps created using the UBD framework. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss the maps in small groups and give their feedback.
