Session Abstract

This interactive workshop takes the writing teacher beyond just telling students how to write one-paragraph introductions by providing the instructor with classroom tested activities and handouts to engage students in discovering what grabs their attention, determining techniques from examples, generating multiple introductions on the same topic, and analyzing peer work.
