Session Abstract
Teachers will share methods, materials, and achievement data regarding the academic literacy development of ELLs. They will demonstrate how they design curriculum in ways that draw on students’ linguistic and cultural resources, apprentice students to reading and writing narratives and informational texts, and address Common Core Standards in critical ways.
