Forming Academic Identities of International Students in a Pathways Program

This presentation will demonstrate how a pathways course facilitates international students’ integration in American academic community.  Course tasks are designed to raise learners' awareness of textual features used in graduate school genres. Students' academic and language learner identity become tranformed as they conduct research and participate in Student Research conference.
