Alma

The Alma evaluation and trial process allows library staff and patrons to evaluate a resource before it is purchased, thereby ensuring that funds will be expended on useful and desired material. As part of the 2018 roadmap, Alma development is devoting considerable resources to this area, with significant improvements to existing functionality. These improvements stem directly from library feedback and discussions with Ex Libris. During this session we will go through a complete trial and evaluation workflow while pointing out developments which have already been completed as well as additional planned improvements for the remainder of 2018.
