Session Description

This session will show how the Orbis Cascade Alliance is mapping specialized MARC 21 fields to Primo to improve access to music, film and literature. It will demonstrate how data in fields such as 382 (medium of performance), 257 (country of producing entity) and 386 (creator/contributor characteristics) can be manipulated using Primo norm rules. Strategies and challenges for display, search and faceting will be discussed.
