Session Description

In May 2017, Augusta University Libraries migrated from Voyager to Alma as part of the University System of Georgia (GALILEO / GIL) consortium.  After migration, the IT help desk, which shares a circulation desk at one of the libraries needed a system to help manage its equipment checkouts.  Alma to the rescue!  Library staff worked with IT to get records for the IT equipment loaded to the system and to make the necessary system settings.  The objective of this session is to share experience and best practices learned through this cooperative relationship between the library and IT.  The session will also include discussion regarding the Alma configuration we used to enable the equipment checkouts.  Geared for a general audience and those with basic Alma expertise.
