Session Abstract
Approximately 20% of children under 18 living in poverty in MA are ELs. Participants will understand key concepts related to the education of students living in poverty, including the effects of chronic poverty that compel an urgency to intervene. Research-based strategies for school and classroom intervention will be provided.
