Session Abstract
This session connects Zwier’s work on Constructive Conversations for intermediate-to-advanced upper elementary and middle school ELL students to academic vocabulary and writing development practices. Strategies to guide academic speaking opportunties through the linked use of anticipation guides and paragraph frames with both fiction or nonfiction will be presented.
