True Colors: Sex Positivity for Trans Disabled Folx

Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 3:00 PM–4:20 PM PDT
Cypress
Workshop Description

Learn about the intersection of sexuality, disability, and trans-ness from a panel of people who inhabit both the LGBTQIA community and the disability community. It is rare to see either LGBTQIA identities or disabilities represented in the context of sex positivity, let alone both. This presentation will be a unique insight into the intersectional experience of being trans and disabled. Panelists will share about the strength it takes to navigate an inaccessible society and maintain well-being in the face of chronic pain, and the happiness that comes from finding not just a community, but two communities.
