Workshop Description
Raising and supporting a trans child in our society has many challenges all its own. When you are a family of color, additional issues become part of the mix. How do you reconcile your ethnic and cultural identity with that of the LGBT community? How do these identities shift or overlap? What arises when integrating your child’s reality with the cultural expectations of extended family and your community of color? Bring your questions and stories to share within a safe circle of mixed-race families and families of color.
NOTE: This discussion session is designated as Families of Color and Mixed Race Only space.
