Workshop Description

Peggy Cryden, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and her son Jacob, a 27-year-old transgender male who is a graduate student in the field of LGBTQ-affirmative psychology, team up to present an informative, affirming, and heartfelt workshop. Using humor, compassion, and their personal experience in conjunction with their professional expertise, they present a workshop that is empowering, informative, and inspirational. This workshop will be primarily interactive: beginning with short narratives about their personal stories, continuing with an educative segment that will include answering questions from the attendees, and ending with an open discussion and breakout groups.
