TRANS CARE: A brief therapeutic approach to help clients reach gender congruence
Workshop Description
This workshop will introduce a brief yet comprehensive therapeutic model to help transgender clients move to a life of increased gender congruence. It includes assessment, educational, and therapeutic components while covering the cognitive, emotional, and physical realms of trans experiences. Transition options, dealing with family, work, school, legal name change, relationship issues, hormone therapy, surgical options, report writing, and post-transition support will also be covered.

Presenter Bio
Dr Patty is a Clinical Sexologist in private practice for 28 years. She specializes in providing care for transgender people and has worked with 800+ trans people and their families. She works with people of all gender identities, all ages, and all stages of gender exploration and/or transition process. Her primary goal in counseling is to help each individual reach a state of congruence and authenticity in their gender and erotic orientations. drpatty.care
