Workshop Description

Some companies have been addressing matters of gender identity in the workplace for quite some time, but it’s still new territory for many employers and human resources professionals. Do you feel like you're the only one still in the dark? This session is perfect for anyone new to the conversation about gender identity and gender expression. We’ll spend most of our time on the basics of terminology, language, and culture, and take a brief look at the myriad ways in which these topics manifest in the workplace—many of which are explored in more detail throughout the Gender Odyssey conference.
