Trans and Gender-Diverse Inclusive Employment Policies
Workshop Description
What types of inclusive employment policies should an organization or company have that address gender identity and expression in the workplace? What guidelines need to be clearly articulated and communicated to ensure the protection of rights and the safety of transgender and gender diverse-employees? In this session, we will talk through examples of policies that different employers have in place to inform gender-inclusive conduct and culture as well as evaluation tools to help you measure your progress.

Gunner Scott, Pride Foundation
Presenter Bio
Gunner Scott, director of programs at Pride Foundation, holds a BA from Goddard College, where he completed the oral history project entitled “Boston Area Transgender Community Leaders and the ENDA Crisis.” He brings over 20+ years of experience in the fields of transgender equality, LGBTQ partner abuse, LGBTQ cultural competency trainings, community arts, and media making. Prior to 2013, he was the executive director of the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC), where he led a five-year legislative campaign for the Transgender Equal Rights bill.
