Gender Dysphoria in Young Children
Workshop Description
Gender dysphoria is a very big challenge for young children. Our society is asking them to conform to the list of requirements for their assigned sex at birth. As a result of this, many young children are at odds with the environment’s expectations of them and their internal feelings about themselves. In this session, you’ll learn how to recognize gender dysphoria in all stages of childhood, and how to best create a safe and supportive environment for your gender-nonconforming child while also helping to build their sense of self-reliance.
