Involving Students: the PSL Mobile Experience
Conference or Developers Day
Conference
Abstract
Today the way in which the students communicate has changed. It’s all about mobile technology, smart devices and apps. Higher education has to find new ways to engage students. The MyPSL app meets two major needs of the student body. Firstly, it makes everyday life easier by centralizing tools and information such as calendars, grades, libraries opening hours, locations. Secondly, it increases student involvement in the PSL community by allowing them to stay in touch and keep informed when (they are) off campus. This presentation aims to explain the main objectives of the project and how it was managed in a consortial environment as well as to describe possible integrations from a variety of different sources.
