FOCUS Université Paris-Saclay : Primo in a consortial environment
Conference or Developers Day
Conference
Abstract
The consortium Université Paris-Saclay deployed Primo discovery and delivery solution at its 17 member institutions. The consortial discovery tool offers access in one single view to the collections of all the seventeen institutions. Each member institution has its own view, but there is a shared view that highlights combined collection of all institutions. The shared view shows different online access depending on the activations made by each institution in SFX (one instance per institution), allowing the user to choose access to the full text. This view was made to promote mobility on campus and facilitate research through many library catalogs and online resources for the public belonging to different institutions or who is able to move through the campus. Université Paris-Saclay is building its campus and the consortial view is a way to improve the services on the campus for students, researchers and teachers.
