Session Abstract
As an undergraduate academic advisor who advises many Black women, I have found that using critical advising (Puroway, 2016) with my Black female undergraduates promotes student success. Using critical advising and academic analytics, academic advisors can operationalize the data gleaned for a more holistic advising session that promotes transformative learning.
