Session Abstract
Prior learning assessment (PLA) grants college credit for learning and knowledge gained outside traditional academic settings (e.g., work, training, military service, independent study). In this session, we will share tools and strategies and examine PLA using Anderson and Krathwohl’s (2001) revised (Bloom's) learning taxonomy to evaluate competency portfolios.
