The study used a Discussion Team (DT) made up of 12 lecturers from the School of General Education, Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri, Imo State of Nigeria as source of data for the study. They brainstormed in a round table setting and came out with the following that a good number of lecturers do not have access to online materials and other ICT resources, lecturers lack technical training, lack of training for lecturers in computer operation and software use and lack of online communities for research purposes. The DT recommended that lecturers should be provided with ICT training on computer-assisted tutorials, that technology assisted resources like the television, internet, power-point presentations, and smart boards should be made available by authorities.
