With the wide range of smart technology and assistants available we are looking at ways in which we can integrate these into our library. Throughout this session we will look at how we have used Alma webhooks and Amazon Web Services to develop a scalable platform enabling us to provide a variety of new services to our users at Lancaster University.  By using this platform we have been able to provide a Facebook chat bot, an Alexa skill as well as a managed API platform for our internal stakeholders. This session is an overview of the platform we have built including the technologies used and the services we are now able to provide on top of this. We will also cover some of the issues and challenges faced along the way.
