Abstract
Using Alma APIs to improve your data: Managing data for 80+ institutions and 200+ libraries, BIBSYS (now a department of Unit – The Norwegian Directorate for ICT and Joint Services in Higher Education and Research) performs many data management tasks. This presentation will demonstrate select cases where BIBSYS has used the Alma APIs to improve, correct or enhance data for the BIBSYS consortium or for a single institution.

Primo as portal for Inter Library Loan in Norway: NCIP-P2P together with Alma APIs and availability services have made it possible for BIBSYS to make an ILL service within Primo, enabling public libraries in Norway to submit an ILL request to any BIBSYS library, establishing a peer-to-peer communication between their own system and Alma for the ILL workflow by this service. BIBSYS gives a brief introduction to purpose, use cases, and supported steps in the workflow.
