Wise Peer—The Healing Art of Listening, Advanced: A Facilitative Trauma-Healing Technique

sábado, el 11 de agosto de 2018 a las 15:00–16:20 PDT
Rm 615
Workshop Description

Wise Peer teaches communication tools for facilitation, empowerment, and healing. This advanced session is geared toward GO Pro attendees to share powerful tools with which to facilitate your clients’ empowerment and aid in their healing. An “outward-facing” technique of exquisite attention which focuses on the speaker, Wise Peer teaches a variety of communication tools that create an atmosphere of being heard and “gotten” so profoundly, it brings immediate healing. It facilitates the speaker to connect with their own inner wisdom, leading to discovery of their own tailor-made solutions, and to fully participate in their own healing. It allows both speaker and listener to remain emotionally safe and connected to each other. This advanced form of listening, "Permissive Listening," focuses on the speaker's well-being but also has a positive effect on the listener. Wise Peer is grounded in Rogerian client-centered therapy, combined with Jungian Shadow integration, teaching a potent mixture of visualization, embodiment, and communication tools.
