Columbia
Session Description

Help Shape the Future! The Coalition of Lifelong Learning Organizations (COLLO) is in the midst of identifying today’s major issues in providing lifelong learning opportunities for adults and actions to resolve them, interviewing 30 + leaders in lifelong learning (including members of ACHE, AAACE, AHEA, CAEL, COABE, CEA, NCSDAE). Central questions address pressing challenges, promising practices and helpful policies. Expected outcomes include clarification of lifelong learning’s definition, challenges, promising practices and approaches, needed resources and policies as well as increased knowledge exchange and dialogue leading perhaps to collaborative actions to improve lifelong learning programs and activities for adults.

Consider this session to obtain a preview of findings. Provide your perspectives on questions and responses and, importantly, help set priorities. Let us know how COLLO might help you provide opportunities and/or skills for lifelong learning.
