Session Description

Whether you serve adult learners in the classroom, as an administrator or as a leader, knowing how to evaluate your program for best results, is a timely and critical skill to have. Adult learners are growing in number across diverse education settings, but at the same time, several programs are on the decline, or struggle to keep up. In this interactive workshop, you will identify how a systematic program evaluation can help you assess the quality and impact of your program or service. Facilitators will help you learn to develop a basic plan for evaluating your own program, and explore brief case examples of how adult focused programs are transformed with the use of evaluation techniques. We look forward to rich conversations based on diverse participant experiences, and context-based takeaways that you will be able to use on return to your institutions. Evaluation is not just for consultants...all are welcome!
