ACHE 2018 Concurrent Sessions
The T.R.U.E. Method of Leadership and Engaging Your Team
Session Description
As President Boozang wrote "In today’s continuing education, adult education, and professional studies divisions, the mission matters now more than ever. The charge to provide affordable, accessible training, certificate, and degree programs still rings true for our programs, as we continue to innovate to broaden geographic and demographic reach, strive to offer in-demand degrees, and ensure student success and satisfaction." As a leader in a mission driven organization, it is imperative to understand that professional development is directly linked to personal growth. If you want to grow as a professional you will need to grow as a person. Therefore, leaders in continuing education need to develop a higher level of self-awareness in order to engage and empower their team to understand that mission matters more than ever in today's volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous global environment.
