Supporting student veterans in higher educational institutions
Session Description
The session will share some findings from my recent dissertation that focused on student veterans and how they perceived support services. The session will aim to explore some insights from participants in the in capturing some meaningful ways higher educational institutions can provide innovative ways to meet some reported barriers such as PTSD and TBI.

Brief Bio
I have been in the field of education for the past 22 years as a lecturer at several colleges and universities in Massachusetts. I enjoy the art of teaching and recently attained my Doctorate of Education in Higher Education at Northeastern University. My goal is to share the importance of support services in fostering a great environment for student veterans.
