Be the Beacon: Create a High Performance Unit
Session Description
New to a leadership position or do you want to improve your continuing education team's morale and performance? In this interactive session, the presenter will introduce topics such as social and emotional intelligence, creating an effective team, coaching and empowering staff. New and seasoned leaders will receive practical tips to strengthen their leadership skills as they serve as the Beacon for their adult and continuing education units.

Brief Bio
Debbie Poweleit has over 30 years experience in higher education as an administrator and currently teaches courses in Organizational Leadership at Northern Kentucky University. She holds a master of science in Human Development and Leadership from Murray State University and is the current ACHE South chair.
