Presenter Bio
WALTER LIN, MD
Dr. Lin is an attending Plastic Surgeon with subspecialization in reconstructive microsurgery and hand surgery. After graduating with honors from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a B.S. in Neuroscience, he remained in Boston and earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School in the highly selective Health Sciences & Technology program (Harvard-MIT HST). From there, he transitioned to the west coast and completed residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). With a strong desire to subspecialize and advance the field of microsurgery, he completed an additional year of fellowship training in Hand, Microvascular, and Transgender Surgery at The Buncke Clinic in San Francisco.
Dr. Lin joined The Buncke Clinic after completion of fellowship and is Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has particular interest in advancing care in microsurgical reconstruction of the breast, extremities, and lymphatic systems.
