Family Constellations: From Exclusion to Belonging

Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM–12:20 PM PDT
Rm 606
Workshop Description

Not belonging is the most painful feeling there is for human beings. When we are not clear on our connection to those we love, we eventually lose connection with ourselves.
We fear ridicule, loneliness, invisibility, and eventually attack, isolation, and not surviving. Many people in this situation want to disappear to stop the pain of exclusion, shame, and dysphoria as who they are is not reflected.

Feel the strength of your family at your back and move forward knowing the importance of your role.

In this highly experiential mini-workshop we will:
1) Uncover and experience directly the hidden family and cultural dynamics that lead to exclusions
2) Address the underlying cultural biases that drive a family to reject a member
3) Resolve the negative pressure and trauma bonds keeping the exclusion in place
4) Show practitioners and educators how they can immediately support gender-diverse youth
5) Experience love and respect flowing again between family members.

Please join us and be ready for an experience that most say "has to be seen to be believed."
