There are several types of hysterectomy that can be performed. In this session, Dr. Webb will explain why some choices are better than others as well as discuss what the surgery entails, what risks are involved, and what the recovery process is like.

Presenter Bio

Burt Webb, MD, started his practice in Scottsdale, AZ, after attending Stanford and Tulane Universities.
Shortly thereafter in 2002, he started performing vaginectomies and hysterectomies on trans patients. He has enjoyed the experience so much that a significant part of his practice is devoted to helping trans patients both surgically and with the hormone management aspect of their health.
