Program Summary/Abstract Description
We will analyze, discuss, and practice formatively assessing academic conversations, digging into what makes them productive or not in a given classroom context. We will then collaborate to generate possible next steps for instruction, based on what we learn from formative assessment. We will analyze transcripts and videos from students in various content areas and grade levels.
