Seventh International Conference on Immersion and Dual Language Education

This presentation will follow the paths of two teachers and their seven-year journey in a Middle School Dual Language program from it's roots to today.  They will discuss the struggles and growing pains of starting the program from the ground up in a rural, low-income community. Teachers will share their experiences of adapting teaching methods, finding and creating resources and unit plans, finetuning best practices, and finding what worked for their students and themselves.
