A brief explanations and examples of elements that support the development of content in a second language. How the use of strategic questions, organizers, vocabulary explained from many sources, and sentence frames makes a difference in any language classroom.

Participants will learn how Comprehensible input, modeling cycle and Linguistic Supports play an important role on developing a concept, especially on the beginning stages of a unit. Presenters will model examples to the attendees as they follow a checklist of protocol for each example. Participants will benefit by evaluating how these techniques and strategies can be applicable to their specific classroom.
