How do my students compare to national averages? Is my language program meeting the goals that have been set out to achieve? Is all of this time focused on improving my students' productive skills really making a difference? These are just a handful of the types of questions this session will answer. Participants will be better equipped to work with the data generated from students who have taken the Avant STAMP assessment. First, national trends and averages generated from STAMP test takers over the past 13 years will be discussed. Then a multitude of angles presented from the data will be discussed that will help inform not only student progress, but also program effectiveness, proctoring strategies, and instructional approaches.
