Program Summary/Abstract Description
Flipped learning shifts the classroom from passive to active learning, focusing on high order thinking skills such as evaluating, analysing, and creating to engage students in learning. The approach relies on understanding the difference between information and knowledge acquisition, providing students with active learning possibilities. During this session, you will learn how to use different tools and technology in order to maximize class time and give students opportunities to take greater responsibility for their own learning of a new language, empowering these dual language learners to independently document and share their learning.
