Short Description
This study intends to contribute to the discussion on the lack of racial and ethnic diversity in the financial planning profession. There are CFP certificant-side and client-side factors that might contribute to the current lack of racial and ethnic diversity in financial planning, and these factors need to be analyzed and acknowledged before any progress can be made on increasing diversity in the profession. This study discusses pitfalls to the diversity initiatives with the intention to contribute to those efforts.
