Program Summary/Abstract Description

Structures and procedures that maximize the students’ active participation across all subjects and their language production across contexts . In this presentation, we will  share strategies for grouping students strategically based on their content and language levels to create inherent support structures  that enhance access to the content and that increase the quantity and quality of the students' language production. Using the Utah DLI Instructional Cylcle, specific grouping strategies will be linked to each phase and purpose of instruction.
