Is your transfer credit process in need of a makeover? Learn how North Carolina State University and Western Carolina University overhauled their transfer credit processing by working across campus departments (and the state of North Carolina!) to utilize software they already had. Both Universities took advantage of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to transform the flow of transfer credit  from the moment the University receives a transcript to the experience of a student viewing their transfer credits online. With the goals of enhancing the student experience and staff efficiency, Western revolutionized their processes, and NC State jumped on the opportunity to learn from Western and scale their approach to meet a large school’s needs. This session will showcase two Universities who are working to improve the transfer student experience and give you tools you can use to rethink how you serve students from recruitment to enrollment at your institution.
