The Future of IEC’s In College Admissions: We Can Work It Out
Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 1:15 PM–2:15 PM EDT
Galleria 7
Session Description
Independent Educational Consultants are undeniably players and partners in the business of college admissions. For many students and families IECs are on the front line of college access, providing essential support and advocacy. For other students and families the intervention of IEC’s can be unnecessary, sometimes even counterproductive to the goal of college readiness. How can we as high school counselors, colleges and universities, and IECs, work in partnership to guide students and families to the appropriate support they need to navigate their college search and application experience?
