2019 Annual Meeting

In late 2018, ProQuest announced the development of Rialto, a groundbreaking approach to unify selection and acquisition in academic libraries. Built on top of the Alma platform, Rialto will create a comprehensive marketplace with content from a variety of publishers and platforms to streamline a library’s purchasing workflow.

Rialto will give libraries:

• Outcome-driven recommendations to predict usage and value of purchases
• Analytics embedded in workflows for better decision-making
• Comprehensive data for reporting back to faculty and other constituents
