Unknown Unknowns: Things We Wish We Knew about Primo VE before Going Live

Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 9:00 AM–9:45 AM EDT
Room 302/303
Session Abstract

here is a lot of talk about Primo VE, but how would migrating to VE impact your exact situation?  George Washington University is part of the first consortium to migrate to Primo VE. We would like to share our surprises, missteps, -- and ultimately-- successes to help inform your migration.  We will share case studies from our migration and implementation, focusing on the unique challenges we faced as early adopters of Primo VE with Alma in a consortial environment.. This included having three Alma/Primo VE Institution Zones in one university and streamlining user experience with configuration and metadata.  Please join our varied team of technical and reference professionals and learn how we made Primo VE work for us.
