Network Zone Analytics: Getting the Most from Your Consortial Environment

Friday, May 3, 2019 at 1:30 PM–2:15 PM EDT
Room 204/205
Session Abstract

This presentation is intended for consortial Alma users who are somewhat new to the Network Zone environment and its accompanying Analytics module; it will also be useful for new consortial customers preparing for migration.

The first part of the presentation will summarize basic information about Network Zone Analytics, including what data is present and which reports must be run at the Network Zone level.  The second piece will showcase some examples of tools and dashboards currently in use at the California State University system.  The presentation will conclude with suggestions for best practices during and after migration to help ensure clean data that is useful at both the institution and consortial level. It will also alert migrating libraries to pitfalls that can cause permanent reporting headaches for all members of the consortium.
