Let the Patron Do It! Streamlining Resource Sharing with Alma Fulfillment Networks
Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:45 AM–12:30 PM EDT
Room 204/205
Session Abstract
A fulfillment network lets a group of Alma institutions share resources without the overhead and cost required for typical resource sharing relationships like ILL. But implementing a fulfillment network is not without challenges. This panel, representing consortia and regionally affiliated institutions with various fulfillment network configurations, will discuss the implementation choices they made, how their fulfillment networks have evolved since implementation, and the things they wish they had known about fulfillment networks before they started.
