mercredi 1 mai 2019 à 16:45–17:30 EDT
Room 311/312
Session Abstract
After an 18 month implementation, the Consortium of MnPALS Libraries went live on Alma and Primo VE on January 29, 2019. This session will focus on the migration experience from the point of view of PALS, the central support office for the consortium. We will cover topics such as workflow changes, data clean up and migration, our use of the Alma Network Zone, training, managing expectations, testing, and communication. We will also talk about some of the challenges we faced. Our goal is to provide information that will be helpful to those that are in the process of migrating from Aleph to Alma and those that are looking to do so in the future.
