Session Abstract
Beginning in 2017, the University of Utah Marriott Library applied a mediated, demand-driven model of acquiring print books. Implementing this method of acquisitions using Alma’s purchase request functionality required some modification of discovery interface display logic, letters and additional system configuration, including modifications of the OpenURL template in Primo. The Marriott Library's decisions and current workflows will be discussed and general guidance on Alma configuration will be provided.
